I’m not a beauty guru but I have learned a lot about makeup from binge watching Youtube.
So, I’m sharing some of my favorite highlighters ranging from liquid illuminators to sticks and powders.
☆ N°7 Skin Illuminator ☆
This is a multi-use highlighter. If I’m wearing foundation I’ll mix this in to create a more skin-like radiant glow. I also love using this as a highlighter on my nose, cheekbones, and brow bone. It is quick and easy to throw on with your fingers. It gives a very natural, sweaty, glow. And it’s available at the drugstore!
☆ Glossier Haloscope in Quartz ☆
Glossier’s Haloscope highlighters are very unique. This is a very dewy highlighter. The outside of the stick is “infused with genuine crystal extracts” and the core consists of “vitamin-rich moisturizers for a hydrated, dewy finish.” I like this highlighter because it has no glitter and it’s super easy to apply with your fingers. I personally like the shade Quartz because it is more warm-toned than the shade Moonstone while Topaz is too deep for my skintone. My Tip: Keep this somewhere warm, it is easier to work with when it’s sweaty.
☆ Colourpop + Kathleen Lights Super Shock Cheek in On the Cusp ☆
I completely fell in love with Kathleen Lights’ Zodiac collection with Colourpop. I will use this highlighter all over my face but I specifically love it as a nose highlight or an eyeshadow. It has a gold/rose gold reflect that’s beautiful. It has a soft, buttery-like consistency. And the price is super affordable!
☆ NARS Highlighting Powder in Fort de France ☆
My favorite makeup Youtube channel is definitely Mariah Leonard. She was nonstop raving about this highlighting powder so I had to try it. If I didn’t have an Ulta giftcard I probably would have never brought myself to purchased this because it is pricey. However, I love it! (And the product is pretty big). So if you’re feeling like treating yourself, do it! It has no glitter, just an amazing glow. It is very natural but build-able. This will literally make you look like an angel.
